The Hurlet Crematorium donates £11,600 to St Vincent’s Hospice
At The Hurlet Crematorium, we’re proud to be part of the ICCM’s Metal Recycling Scheme, a compassionate initiative that allows us to make a difference in our community.
Through this scheme, residual metals left after cremation are sensitively and respectfully recycled, and the funds raised are donated to local charities that mean the world to families across the UK. It’s a programme that honours loved ones’ memories while supporting the living in meaningful ways.
We are honoured to announce that, thanks to the support of families and communities, we recently donated £11,600 to St Vincent’s Hospice. This contribution will help St Vincent’s continue their vital work of providing compassionate care and support to individuals and families facing life-limiting illnesses.
Emma Donald, Community, Corporate & Event Manager at St Vincent’s Hospice, shared:
“On behalf of everyone at St Vincent’s Hospice, a huge thank you to David McNaughton and everyone at The Hurlet Crematorium for their incredibly generous donation of £11,600 through the Institute of Cemetery and Crematorium Management’s Recycling of Metals Scheme. Support like this has a direct impact on the care we’re able to offer, helping us to be there for patients and their families when they need us most. This contribution truly makes a difference, and we’re so grateful for your kindness and commitment to our work.”
Thank you to everyone who has supported this initiative. Together, we’re making a positive impact on our environment and on the lives of those in need.
